Citizens on Patrol Program
The Grimshaw Citizens On Patrol Program is operating in the community!
What Is Citizens On Patrol?
The Citizens On Patrol Program is a group of community minded volunteers dedicated to helping the RCMP keep Grimshaw a safe community. COP volunteers actively patrol the community in pairs while on duty, acting as Eyes and Ears for the police. Each member’s role in the program is to report suspicious or criminal behavior to the local RCMP Detachment.
How Do Residents & Businesses Benefit From The Citizens On Patrol Program?
The patrols provide a visible presence in the neighborhood and community by helping deter crime from our area. The result is increased safety of your home and valuables and increased awareness of criminal activity within neighborhoods utilizing the program. All COP members maintain constant communication with the RCMP detachment and are able to provide authorities with more detailed, accurate information, specific suspicious / criminal activities, resulting in more frequent arrests and tracking suspicious persons.
Be A Driving Force Against Crime … Sign Up Now!
